The Agency of Corrections under the Ministry of Justice regularly announces selection information for open prison inmates according to the Statute of Open Prisons and Regulations of Selection Procedure for Open Prison Inmate. Correctional institutions accept applications from prisoners for open prison selection operations in accordance with the aforementioned announcements, and conduct eligibility reviews according to Article 4 of the Statute of Open Prisons. Lists of prisoners who pass the review are prepared based on their preferences and submitted to the Agency of Corrections for verification, then forwarded to the Open Prison Inmate Selection Committee for deliberation. Distribution lists are then created, sent to each open prison, and copied to each prison of execution. Subsequently, this prison handles the follow-up transfer operations and post-transfer implementation.
