Mingde Minimum Security Prison Hosts 2024 Lunar New Year Celebration

As the year comes to an end, Mingde Minimum Security Prison, along with related organizing and sponsoring units, arranged a Lunar New Year celebration for inmates to share in the festive atmosphere. On January 31st at 10 AM, they invited a lineup of nine entertainers including hosts Qian Fang and Jiang Xueying, goodwill ambassador Huang Lin, Super Red Star Champion Chen Huiqi, Baseball Prince Huang Wei, ageless beauty Gu Jie, Chiayi City Miss Lin Yijie, and popular Taiwanese stars Lin Wei and Lin Yuzi. These performers showcased a spectacular show of music and dance at the prison's Mingde Hall.

Legislator Chen Tingfei, Chairman Li Wanfa of Kenis International Co., Ltd., Manager Li Yuxuan of Webis International Co., Ltd., representatives from Meishuang Cosmetics Co., Ltd., and lawyer Li Gengcheng from Juncheng Law Firm attended the event and celebrated with the inmates. Legislator Chen Tingfei extended her New Year greetings, showing concern for the inmates' lives and encouraging them to adhere to prison regulations, pursue self-improvement, and reintegrate into society as valuable members upon their release. The event featured a variety of performances, including popular songs, dance routines, and interactive sing-alongs, creating a joyful New Year atmosphere.

Warden Dai Mingwei expressed heartfelt gratitude to the participating units and performers for their visit and encouragement. He thanked them for bringing warmth to the inmates during the cold end-of-year period and extended early New Year blessings to everyone, wishing them peace, joy, and success in all endeavors.
